When you're getting closer to 4 than 3 and your curls have yet to meet a pair of scissors AND you're starting to look more like this...

or this...

See?
The time has come for this.
The time has come for me this week, too.
Time to race.
I am excited and anxious to see how this goes. Doing my second ever (non-Olympic triathlon) 10k. Not a huge fan of this distance. You don't really go any slower than a 5K and it is twice as long. OW. Planning on racing the Chattahoochee Challenge 10K on Saturday. Did this same race in 2007 in 45:07 (I think) and am just hoping for better....we'll see...I've been doing a lot of speed work and interval stuff and hope it is paying off.
Time to get my lazy a$$ out of bed.
Time to reintroduce myself to the alarm clock. Here come the early AM workouts. Ugh. Ugh. and Ugh. At least I have a smiling Michelle to meet on Wednesday for a 5:45am swim. If I don't do this I am just not getting all my workouts in and the first thing to go? The swims. Of course.
Tick. Tock.

Woohoo! Good luck!
Good luck at the 10K!
I love those kid hair cutteries. Poor Zach is still bald so I don't think we'll need to visit one for some time.
I can't wait for the alarm clock to go off in my house at 5:00 on Wednesday.
If I could be there with some pots and pans, Drago, I would. :)
Yea! Enjoy your 10K (if that's possible). And no more skipping the swimming. Hear me? ;)
You are hilarious! Run fast on Saturday. Look forward to seeing the results...no pressure or anything :)
